As we've seen the likes of Hail and Avalanche, I think Epic are focusing too much on hazards on the maps to try mix things up.

In my opinion Garden and Tyro Station were some of the worst maps on GoW1, and they had annoying hazards. Albeit Garden was worst.

What do you think?

personally i love tyro station i think its brilliant when an enemy misjudges the time it takes for a train to come and gets completely flattened, admittedly i think garden was a bit of a pain but i think they are really good ideas and its great that not all of them are to mix it up.

Thats fine, seeing as only part of the map is dangerous, but on Hail you have to avoid hail raining down (obviously)
and on Avalanche you have to get inside before it engulfs you! It should be you thats making the risk, instead of the whole map at risk.

Avalanche looks fine. Only the center of the map is engulfed. And there's clearly a long warning time. It'll mostly just be something to push players to the side or to any of the safe spots. Not a huge problem.

And if you're playing on the map, you obviously know it's coming. It's not like it's going to sneak up on you.

The Avalanche also opens up new areas to the map
you couldn't get to before

I like the hazards, they add a new aspect to the game, and it’s not like there completely unavoidable, and you can’t say it aint funny when someone gets hit by the train that you hear coming at you for miles. with avalanche they just added another dimension to it by opening up a new area in the map and closing another, I think it will be cool

Will be good to an extent IMO. It will seperate the good/experienced players from the noobs, but at the same time it could be annoying trying to escape, IE getting stuck to walls, that would be annoying.

Hail looks like a lot of fun with several small tents/buildings to take cover in. Lightning flashes as a warning.
