Well, maybe the queen has the ability to transform into something really hideous... and the Myrahh we saw in Gears II was just her usuall look. But RAAM himself is dead, so if there is any theron boss, he'd be named something else (ok obviously)... but I agree with you.. Maria ain't comming back... And I am glad Epic actually had the whole maria in Gears II cause it brought so many new story elements to the series that Gears I lacked...

Maybe certain aspects of Gears II were rushed, but IMO Gears II made many advancements from Gears I, many storywise, but also in terms of gameplay.

It would be sweet if in gears 3 if you beat the game on insane you got some special unlockable campaign about the days leading up to emerge day or if they dont do that have like a flashback like they did in gears 2 and if they put in a locust campaign to build up charcheter and they could have a special unlockable campaign if you beat on insane where you attack the humans on the surfuarce on e-day that be cool and you could be able to play as the queen or prescott.

i think we can all agree that multiplayer makes this game. 99% of anyone who plays gears2 now plays online multiplayer. and if they cannot figure out the server issue with the lag it will be another beautiful game with a hudge headache.

this goes with out saying that MS will never allow gears to be bigger than halo that is why after so many updates gears still has so many issues. you dont see videos on youtube about how to glich on multiplayer online for halo. but for gears you can acutally find the creator on yt showing you how to glich put 2 and 2 together people.

I actually played the game for the campaign. Multiplayer was secondary for me. But yeah I do think that the server lag was pretty bad.
